Division Play-In - With 32 franchises in each world and at every level, six teams from each league will make the playoffs. The four division winners in each league will each receive playoff berths. The other two playoff spots will be given to the two non-division winners with the best records in each league. These represent the two Wild Card teams. In the Division Play-In Series, the division winners with the third and fourth best overall records in their league will play the Wild Card teams. The third best division winner will play the Wild Card team in its league with the worst overall record. The winner from that Best-of-Five series will move on to face the second best division winner in the Division Champion Series. The best two division winners from each league receive byes for this round. The numbers next to the teams indicate how many games it has won in the series. The first team with three wins advances. Home field will be assigned to the division winner in the last two games.
Division Championship Series - The winners from the Division Play-in Series will advance to face the division winners who received byes in a Best-of-Five Division Championship Series. The numbers next to the teams indicate how many games it has won in the series. The first team to three wins wins the series. Home field will be assigned to the top-two seeded division winner in the last three games.
League Championship Series - The winners from the Division Championship Series will advance to face each other in the Best-of-Seven League Championship Series. The numbers next to the teams indicate how many games it has won in the series. The first team to four wins wins the series and plays in the World Series. Home field will be assigned to the team with the better seed in the first two games, then the opposing team for the next three and end with two games, if necessary, at the higher-seeded team's ballpark.
World Series - The winners from the League Championship Series will advance to face each other in the Best-of-Seven World Series. The numbers next to the teams indicate how many games it has won in the series. The first team to four wins wins that level's championship. Home field will be assigned to the team with the better seed (if equal seeding, then the team with the better record, then a coin flip) in the first two games and then the opposing team for the next three and end with two games, if necessary, at the first team's ballpark.

Tiebreakers - A tiebreaker system is used if two or more teams tie for a playoff berth. Head-to-head record is used first, then division record, then run differential, then last season's record and finally a coin flip.
